STEVENS POST, G. A. R., ATTENTION! HOLMES - At Retsil, Wash., March 8, 1917, MARCUS M. HOLMES, aged 72 years, beloved husband of Catherine A. Holmes.
Funeral services Sunday, at 12:30 o'clock, at the Home Undertaking Co. parlors, Ninth and Union, under auspices of Stevens Post, G. A. R., of which he was past commander.

FUNERAL TOMORROW The funeral of M. M. Holmes, who died at Port Orchard Thursday, will be held at 12:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from the chapel of the Home Undertaking Company. The services will be under the auspices of Stevens Post No. 1, G. A. R., and the McKinley Circle. Holmes was born in New Hampshire in 1844. He graduated from Colby Academy and Dartmouth College. He served in the Civil War as a member of the New Hampshire infantry; later he became commander of Stevens Post. |
