TitleMorse Canning Company exterior and boats, including Pearl, moored nearby on the Dickey River, Mora, date unknown
PhotographerTaylor, Fannie E.
Daten.d.
NotesSamuel Gay Morse and his wife Susan Draper Morse... purchased the Kinney Cannery on the Dickey on February 13, 1912 [Wray, Jacilee, "Fannie Taylor, Postmistress, Mora, Wash:" online exhibit for the Community Museum Project].

On sides of boats in image: //br//...EAR...
Seattle.

Handwritten on negative: 609T. FTM 1359.

Morse Cannery (602-609 sleeve "Old Cannery") [note taken from inventory of unknown origin filed with image at Forks Timber Museum].

Appears to be similar to #601-T--different angle of cannery building [note from "Taylor Photographic Collection:" an inventory of Fanny Taylor images, probably prepared for the Sequim Museum and Arts Center and filed with the image at Forks Timber Museum].

Comparison to Fannie Taylor image number 643 suggests that the boat second from the right is Pearl, whereas Rhododendron and Skagit cannot be identified [cataloger's note].
