NotesLake Jarve covers 17.9 hectares. It has 2.4 kilometres of coastline and is an average of 2.4 metres deep. Ten thousand years ago the whole bog area in the Nigula Nature Reserve was one big lake. Now Jarve Lake is a relict of the deepest part of the ancient body of water.
