| Notes | The Peter's Hall was designed by the architect Auguste de Monferrand in 1833. It was restored with minor alterations after the fire of 1837 by Vasily Stasov. The painting in the niche is the work of the Itallian artist Jacopo Amiconi. It depicts Peter the Great with Minerva. The throne was made in London by Nicholaus Klausen in 1731-1732 for Empress Anna Ioannovna. |
