DescriptionDouble-headed frame drum with a wooden handle. Also known as maegubuk. White skins stretched over wooden frame and laced together in an "X" pattern with fine white string. There is a small knob on top of the frame. Each head has a blue, red and yellow circular design painted on the white skin. It is played with a thick wooden mallet.
There are 6 Sogos in the UW collection. Whereabouts of the wooden mallets are unknown (as of 5/98). Top nob of Sogo 1 is chipped and one of the heads is ripped.
