DescriptionUnidentified African (Nigerian?) drum. This instrument is stained a very dark brown. A satiny yellow and green skirt covers paintings of several dancers painted in white on the body. A triangular design in yellow and greeen circles the body at the base and just under the indented upper portion of the drum. A tattered light blue satiny cloth handle is attached to the drum.
The provenance of this drum is unknown.
