| Description | This set of six gongs is suspended in three wooden frames, which are painted red and hold two gongs each on laced string supports. The openings for the lacing are asymmetrical hexagons. The three stands are trapezoidal in shape, have three legs each and fit together in one long row. (On the smallest of these stands the longest side measures 75cm in length; the other two stands measure 80cm in length). The gongs have curved outer rims with convex upper lips and raised bosses at the centre. They are part of Sundanese gamelan degung. |
