This
pattern
is
created
by
starting
with a
vertical
Nonpareil
base.
Once
completed
a
comb
with
one
set
of
teeth
would be
drawn
across
the
bath
twice
horizontally
,
once
in
either
direction
with the
second
pass
halving
the
first.
These
passes
cause
parallel
bands
to
appear
whose
interiors
resemble
the
edges
of
spread
out
feathers.
The
primary
colors
for this
example
are
light
and
medium
green
and
black.
