Studio NameCockerell and Sons
Date20th century
Descriptive NotesWolfe and Muira: not listed
Schleicher and Maurer-Mathison: Feather[S, DM] marble ( [S, DM] to distinguish between this and Muira's version of a Feather pattern).

This pattern is created by starting with a vertical Nonpareil base. Once completed a comb with one set of teeth would be drawn across the bath twice horizontally, once in either direction with the second pass halving the first. These passes cause parallel bands to appear whose interiors resemble the edges of spread out feathers.

The primary colors for this example are brown, tan and red.
