Muira: Feather marble
Schleicher: Cabled Getgel with Feather pattern
This pattern begins with completing a Feather marble. Next, a rake with a single set of wide interval teeth would be drawn through the bath horizontally once in either direction leaving in its wake a wide band of fine lines between the Feather lanes. In this particular example, the cabling was only done to part of the bath, leaving the right hand side in its original Feather pattern.
This sample is a second.
The primary colors for this yellow paper sample are red, black and brown.
|Collection Notes||This sample is a flat sample from amongst a box of samples Guyot would have used to monitor his inventory and pattern types for his company, Colophon.|
