| Artist | Guyot, Don |
| Studio Name | Colophon Hand Bindery |
| Place of Production | United States -- Washington (State) -- Seattle |

| Descriptive Notes | Muira: Large wave marble. Wolfe: not listed. Schleicher and Maurer-Mathison: Waved Nonpareil.
This pattern was created in the middle of the 19th century.
This pattern is related to the Serpentine in that both require the final step to be a single pass drawn in wavy lines. The 'wave' aspect can be applied to any base pattern whereas Muira suggests that a Serpentine base is always the same.
This pattern is created by starting with a Nonpareil base (or Wide comb, depending upon the desired size of the columns). Then a comb with one set of teeth is drawn across the bath vertically in a wavy line.
This sample is a second.
The primary colors for this medium grey paper are yellow, blue, grey, orange and white.
