|Title||Raul McClin taking a radiation reading on Enjebi Island, summer 1964 |
|Photographer||Sneddon, James O. |
|Notes||Images documenting the Eniwetok-Bikini Resurvey Project between July and September 1964.|
Caption with image: Raul McClin wrote down a radiation reading near the Engebi Island blockhouse. McClin took representative readings on all islands visited at ground level and at three feet above the ground. The center section in the blockhouse was knocked loose by a blast. It settled about one story and also slid about 15 feet horizontally. The power of the blasts was evident in the blockhouse's twisted girders and shattered concrete. 9266-4.
