Name changes: Eniwetok is now known as Enewetak Caption in scrapbook: But its home is a desolate place In the foreground is a patch of dead "Sand Burrs" (Cenchrus echinatus) surrounded by living, but not entirely normal, Morning Glory plants. These patches of dead and abnormal plants were found in distinct areas near the epicenter of the blast.
