Caption in scrapbook: The sailing vessels have auxiliary power. The tall buildings on the right in the upper photo, one is a native house, the other, facing the lagoon is a shed used for the construction of 20-foot Indian landing boats, sailing crafts ordered in quantity from native craftsmen by the US Navy.
