Contextual NotesArchitects' biographical information: ARRIGO YOUNG and STEPHEN RICHARDSON were partners from 1941 to 1950. ARRIGO YOUNG, b. 2-19-1884, d. 6-27-1954. Graduated from University of Michigan with engineering degree. Head of structural department, Moran Company, 1910. Started independent engineering practice, 1913. Later obtained architectural license. STEPHEN RICHARDSON, b. 7-15-1910, d. 10-22-1984. Graduated MIT, 1935. First worked with Arrigo Young in 1936. Partnered in 1941. Retired, 1970.
