| Notes | Pattern No. 51: Semi-fitted coat with collar lapel and fitted sleeves. Coat is "darted from the lower edge to the bust line at the side fronts" and fastens at the center front with buttons. Breeches with pockets are reinforced with soft leather at the crotch. Breeches are trimmed at the knee cuff with buttons. Worn with a collared blouse and tie, and accessorized with a narrow-brimmed hat and riding crop. Figure is shown leading a horse.
Pattern No. 50: Upper section of coat fastens at the center front with buttons. Lower (or "skirt") section is "seamed at the waistline to the upper section" and is left open at the center front and back to allow "for cross saddle riding." Coat has mannish collar with lapels, fitted sleeves, and applied pockest at either side. Breeches with pockets are reinforced with soft leather at the crotch. Breeches are trimmed at the knee cuff with buttons. Worn with a blouse and ascot, and accessorized with a narrow-brimmed hat.
