NotesPattern No. 4562: Collared surplice shirwaist with a girdle that fastens at the left. Worn over a pleated vest. Sleeves are "darted from the elbows to the wrists, where they are finished by turn back cuffs" and finished with a button. Long side tunics are gathered to the hip yokes and trimmed with a button at each side front. Accessorized with a wide-brimmed hat trimmed with feathers.

Pattern No. 4563: Simple skirt gathered to the waistline.
