NotesPattern No. 4830: Kimono-style blouse with shallow, round yoke is "slashed at the center front and a narrow shield of contrasting material is inserted at the opening, and finished with small buttons and a ribbon lacing." Kimono sleeves are "gathered to straight cuffs and finished with a fancy stitched line to correspond with the yoke." Ribbon sash ties at the left side and the blouse is "trimmed with an embroidered motif at the lower edge and in medallions across the shoulders." Worn with a simple skirt and accessorized with a wide-brimmed hat trimmed with leaves.
