NotesPattern No. 4818: Slip-on chemise with adjustable neckline trimmed with an applied bow. "Back section of chemise is cut with an extension flap at the lower edge which fastens to the lower edge in front with buttons." "Side seams of chemise are curved at the lower edge and finished at the point of joining with applied bows." Chemise has a double row of smocking along the back and is finished with ribbon trimming.

Pattern No. 4819: Lower section of chemise is gathered to the yoke; yoke has an elasticized casing along the top. Shoulder straps are of ribbon and bustline is trimmed with ribbon. Accessorized with a large wrap.
