NotesPattern No. 2498: Tailored shirtwaist with a wide collar trimmed with a ruffle and finished with a box. Shirtwaist buttons up the front center. Sleeves are finished with a turned-back cuff fastened with a linked button and trimmed with a ruffle. Accessorized with a deep-crowned hat with a wide front brim and finished with embroidery.

Pattern No. 2499: Skirt opens at the front under a lapped seam and is fastened with buttons. Skirt has a patch pocket with a flap on the left hip and is finished with a draped girdle.
