NotesPattern No. 4649. A: Fitted sleeve with a deep bell cuff of a contrasting material, and finished with a line of buttons. B: Tailored sleeve that is "slashed for the opening, and faced, and finished with a button." "Turned-back cuff is fastened by linked buttons." C: Sleeve is "gathered to a fitted cuff which is turned back and trimmed with narrow frilling" and fastened with a button. D: Straight sleeve finished with a turned-back flare cuff. E: Undersleeve darted from the elbow to the wrist, and with a deep fitted cuff. Bell-shaped oversleeve buttons to the cuff.
