| Notes | Pattern No. 4756: Kimona-style shirtwaist with vest section; neckline and vest are "trimmed with folds of transparent shirred casings through which ribbon is run." Elbow kimona sleeves are "finished with gathered shaped ruffles and tied with ribbons." Girdle fastens at the center back under an applied bow, and is also formed from a shirred casing for ribbon. Long overskirt almost entirely covers underskirt and is draped on each hip. Tunics are draped at each side and trimmed with ribbons in the front. Accessorized with a parasol and a picture hat finished with a veil. |
