NotesPattern No. 4780: Waistcoat is trimmed along the edges with braid and down the center with a row of small buttons. Lower edge of the collared, belted blouse "turns up to form a deep cuff which is held in place at the center back with three buttons." Bell-shape sleeves are "finished at the lower edge with braid." Worn with a simple skirt and accessorized with a deep-crowned, floppy-brimmed hat trimmed with a small feather.
