| Notes | Pattern No. 4797: Shirtwaist with short sleeves, a rounded neckline with a "softly draped vest section" and a girdle that fastens at the back under an applied bow. "Overskirt is left open at the sides to show the underskirt" and a "straight tucked section at the lower edge of the skirt" gives a barred silhouette. Narrow piquot ribbons extend from the waistline to a bow at the top edge of the tucked section. Frock is "trimmed with narrow, cream Valenciennes lace at the side edges of the overskirt, upper and lower edges of the tucked section, and at the neck and sleeve edges." Accessorized with a large fan and long gloves.
