NotesPattern No. 4680: Boatneck shirtwaist with bell sleeves "trimmed with folds of material" and tight undersleeves "flared at the wrist." Waistcoat panel extends below the girdle and is patterned. Collar trimmed with a bow. Draped overskirt and underskirt with a belt that opens at the center under an applied bow. Accessorized with a slender cane and picture hat trimmed with feathers.

Pattern No. 4686: Shirtwaist and sleeves are cut kimona style with shirtwaist "draped slightly under a buckle at the center." Vest is trimmed with braid. Sleeves are "darted at the wrist to fit snugly." Fullness of the hobble skirt is gathered under a row of braid. Back of skirt and shirtwaist are trimmed with buttons. Accessorized with a narrow-brimmed, deep-crowned hat trimmed with a bow.
