NotesPattern No. 4644: "Fullness of the cape is gathered to a shallow yoke under a deep collar." Cape is slashed at both sides to accommodate the narrow belt which ties at the front. Cape opens at the center front and is "trimmed at the back seams with buttons and stitching and at the front arm openings with buttons." Accessorized with a picture hat with a ruffled, wide brim worn askew.
