NotesPattern No. 4601-02: Blouse and skirt "designed to simulate a one-piece frock." Front of the blouse is "laid in two lapped plaits to give a panel effect." Sleeves are finished with buttoned placquets, and the lower edges of the sleeves are "finished with a straight cuff and a flared over-cuff trimmed with a button." Collar is "fastened to the shirtwaist with snappers." Front panel of belted, two-piece hobble skirt is "laid in two lapped plaits to give a panel effect." Front of the skirt is slashed for pockets on either side. Accessorized with a deep-crowned picture hat trimmed with an orange feather.
