The main mill of the company was in Linnton in Multnomah County. Linnton would later become part of the city of Portland. The Clark & Wilson Company purchased many tracts of timberland in nearby Columbia County and had camps in places such as Scappoose and Wilark, as well as an additional mill at Prescott. Today, Clark & Wilson Park, part of Forest Park in Portland, remains as a donated sample of western Oregon timber from the Clark & Wilson Company. |
