Short lessons about English history beginning with the Druids and the invasion of Julius Caesar and ending with the reign of Henry VIII.
This plate depicts "The Battle of Hastings, with the Death of Harold."
|Contextual Notes||Sarah Trimmer was known as the "Guardian of Education." She did much work for John Marshall until they had a falling out toward the end of the 18th century. |
