This is a counting book with text and illustrations designed to teach children their numbers from one to ten. It also includes some simple addition and subtraction problems.
This page illustrates the math lesson that three plus three equals six. The illustration shows a group of three boys with a sword, gun, and drum rushing to fight another group of three boys with a sword, gun, and flag. Instead of fighting, however, they join together and march off in pairs.
