"O" is for Oyster Grotto in which children use oyster shells to build dollhouses or to create pretend ovens to bake pebble cakes and mud pies.
"P" is for Peg-Top, or playing with tops.
"Q" is for Quoits, a lawn game similar to horseshoe pitching.
Contextual NotesAunt Louisa was a pseudonym for Laura B. J. Valentine. Valentine was the general editor of Frederick Warne & Company's juvenile publishing department.
