Printed in introductory remarks: "Its pages furnish just a variety as is best fitted to the wants of children from infancy up to the age of twelve years. In schools it is found to answer admirably as a first-Reader; and in remote districts where there are no schools, it takes the place of a teacher; for thousands of children have been taught to read by "The Nursery" alone".
This bound volume contains vol. 21 (1) to vol. 22 (1).
