Translation of title: "A True story: Words and pictures about two Germans from abroad". This is a laudatory biography of Adolf Hitler for German children. It covers his childhood and military career in World War I up to his political career as German Chancellor.
The illustration depicts a crowd of people paying hommage to Hitler.
Contextual NotesThe book is printed in Sütterlin script, developed by Ludwig Sütterlin in 1911. The script was sanctioned by the National Socialists as "Aryan script" and was taught in German schools until the early 1940s.
