| Notes | Illustrated with color printed lithographs. Lesson helps consisting of illustrated cards published by the American Sunday-School Union to supplement the Sunday-School World, a monthly periodical. The cards were designed to teach the lessons of the Bible. The text condenses 1 Chron. 22:6-16 (David telling Solomon to build a house for the Lord, illustrated on the verso) into a handful of easily understood sentences and then presents questions and answers about the passage. |
| Contextual Notes | The American Sunday-School Union was a cross-denominational national organization founded in Philadelphia in 1824.
