| Notes | Lithograph illustrations, some hand colored. Structure is accordion format with each page representing objects illustrating a single letter. The representations are in French with English translations. This page depicts objects that start with "E" such as: écureuil (squirrel), épée (sword), éléphant (elephant), échelle (ladder), encrier (inkstand), encensoir (thurible), épervier (sparrow hawk), and ecrin (jewelry box). There is also a depiction of a child jumping rope but the French and English titles are missing. This page also depicts objects that start with "F" such as: fourneau (stove), faucille (sickle), flûte (flute), fleur (flower), faisan (pheasant), fontaine (fountain), fauteuil (chair), flacon (flagon or decanter), and fusil (rifle). |
