A story about two undisciplined rich children and their fate. Miss Jessie is slatternly, ignorant and vulgar. They waste their lives and money, and die in unfortunate ways, Miss Supine dashing out her brains after being thrown from her horse during a fox hunt and Master Watty dying in debtor's prison.
The frontispiece depicts "Miss Supine" as a young girl dangling a stringed toy in front of a cat.
Printed on the title page: Price two-pence.
