Each page in the book depicts a man in costume from a different part of the world. There are some standard inclusions such as: Englishman, Spaniard, Arabian, Persian, Turk, Chinese, Egyptian, and Moor. Some more unusual inclusions are: Baschkire, Kamschadale, Van Dimenslander, Friendchaps Islander, and Hottentot.
The illustrations that can be seen here are a Turk, Chinese, Mexican, and Van Dimenslander.
