Contextual NotesVeazie Wilson was as amateur photographer who documented the Fort Wrangell and Juneau area as well as the Yukon Territory between 1894-1895. He wanted to create a guide book to attract miners to the Alaskan region, but died of typhoid fever in 1895 prior to the publication of his book.
