NotesHandwritten on verso: Summit Lake- (White Pass and Yukon Route.) A tiny sapphire spot amoung the great bare hills. And from this bit of brilliance the mighty Yukon takes it's rise. This is where the stars and stripes and the minow Jack of Englad waves. For some reason old glory was absent. White Pass Alaska.
