It is an American production, the largest at the St. Louis World's Fair where it cost $90, 000. There pronounced to be the most original, refined, novel and attractive.

| Contextual Notes | The Trans-Siberian Railway was constructed from 1891 to 1916. It connected European Russia to its eastern provinces, Mongolia, China and the Sea of Japan.
"The Trail" was an 800 foot-long street that featured amusements and carnival attractions.
The Lewis and Clark Exposition was hosted by the city of Portland from June 1 to October 15, 1905. Covering over 400 acres, the fair showcased exhibits from various nations and states, and it promoted the economic potential of the Pacific Northwest region. |
