Caption on image: Hood River and Mt. Hood, Ore. from the Washin drive down the Columbia River Highway was wonderful. The wind blows here very strong. Everything ok. A spark from a train fell on the tent last night and might have been serious but Max was awake and so saved us. We went camp near the R.R. again. All fine, E.G. Hipkoe.
