Caption on verso: Literally a wall of water, these one thousand springs gush from the north walls of the Snake River canyon on the famed Minnie Miller Guernsey farm. They are believed to be the outlet of the "Lost Rivers."
Contextual NotesThese springs emerge from the canyon walls near Hagerman, Idaho and flow into the Snake River. Their source is believed to be the Lost Rivers, which flow into the Crater's of the Moon National Monument but have no apparent outelet.
