Contextual NotesIn 1915, dairy farmer George Shepperd donated this parcel of land to the State of Oregon as a memorial to his wife. The bridge was designed by K.R. Billner and was constructed by the Pacific Bridge Company for $10,800. A stairwell and trail to the falls originates at the east end of the bridge.
