Caption on verso:This bridge is 1500 feet long and 475 feet above the Snake River. The river irrigates the green empire of Southern Idaho.
Contextual NotesThis bridge, originally named the Twin Falls-Jerome Intercounty Bridge, was built over the Snake River in 1927. It connected Jerome, Idaho and Twin Falls, Idaho. The bridge was a toll bridge until 1940, when tolls were eliminated. It was later replaced by the Perrine Bridge in 1976.
