| Contextual Notes | The Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist was built in Boise, Idaho, in 1921 under the supervision of Bishop Glorieux. It is the largest church of Romanesque style in Idaho. The building is on on the National Register of Historic Places. Note that the tall front spires shown in the postcard were never actually constructed. |
