Contextual NotesFrom 1834 to 1910, Mitchell Wagon Works produced wagons in Racine, Wisconsin. The company later expanded its manufacturing efforts to farm implements, motorcycles and automobiles. The Mitchell Motor Company produced automobiles from 1902 to 1923.
