Contextual NotesFrom 1894 to 1905, the Elliott Bay Yacht Club moored their boats at the Brighton Beach House. In 1909, the E.Y.B.C. became the Seattle Yacht Club and it established a clubhouse on the shores of West Seattle in 1910.
