| Building Notes | Ellsworth Storey, one of Seattle's most popular architects, graduated from the University of Illinois in 1903 and moved to Seattle. These were the first two houses he designed, one for himself and one for his parents. They exemplify Storey's style and the influence of the Arts and Crafts Movement and his affection for the Swiss chalet on his designs. |
