Building NotesIn 1946 Roland Terry formed a partnership with his former University of Washington schoolmates Bert Tucker and Robert Sheilds, which lasted until 1951. Along with the Honolulu firm of Wimberly & Cook, Tucker, Shields & Terry built the Canlis' Charcoal Broiler. This building helped establish Roland Terry's reputation for interior design in commercial work. While the interiors have undergone small renovations, the building itself is still widely acknowledged as one of Terry's more celebrated works.
