AbstractThe author examines the use of figures of speech in Lilit Yuanphai in portraying King Trailokkanat's competency in ruling and warfare. Supposedly written in early Ayutthaya period between 1491 and 1529, Lilit Yuanphai is an important historical literature praising the charisma and ability of King Trailokkanat.
